Neil,

unfortunately, now I have no horse.
In the childhood I had one - "Rose" when we lived in the private big house with my grandfather. The grandfather took care of many horses, probably he make me fall in love with horse-riding and I feel horses as they are smart. Sad that I have not much time now.

  • 1

Hello, Neil
Since the childhood I rode horses, these are very kind, beautiful and clever animals. We (me and my parents) always went by days off town. There very beautiful nature, wood, falls. It gives me pleasure.

  • 2

On my book shelf always remain Jack London's book, also i always like to have philosopher's Paulo Coelho.
I didn't read "The Hobbit", but I think, it is worth trying.
"The Lord of the Rings", wasn't pleasant to me as I don't love fantasy, generally I read something from the confidant to reality.

Winston Churchill has good statements, for example
"The pessimist sees difficulties at each opportunity; the optimist in each difficulty sees opportunities."

Dances are in general a separate subject. I borrowed with different types: east (bellydance), sports, ball, and now - dance on a pole and go-go.

Hello, Kei.
Nice to meet you here.

Yes, I already like to have the blog and to communicate with people. In the summer I like to read very much in a summer cottage on big a swing, in a midday sun there always a shadow, it is possible to lay down and enjoy conveniently by reading fascinating books. And in the winter I like to read on loggia, my favorite place, a convenient sofa and a warm plaid. Now I am finishing the last book I choose for summer end and I think what to read next. Maybe your advice will help me with the next book?

  • 2

Neil,
Ernest Hemingway? I've read only "the old man and the sea". Certainly I have also other interests, except reading: vocal, dances, horse riding.

Hello, Neil!

I chose a name because i like it, first I wanted name Jennifer, but "Jeff" sounding was pleasant for me, stronger, shorter no matter if it possible only for man's name! I prefer Jeff, but you can use "Jeffa" as well.
:)

I read a lot of books.

The favorite author - Jack London, most favorite is "White Fang". The remarkable story about a wolf, in which on a quarter of dog blood. It changes his life, forcing to submit to the person and to see in him the owner and a deity. Life is cold to White Fang, he doesn't meet anything except hatred, rage and need to survive, but eventually and on his way the true friend who could show to the angered wolf comes across that in life there is a devotion and love. Great book! Severe life of the Northern solitude, the wild world, which main law is shown - "kill or be killed" where even people don't feel in safety. And even here, as well as everywhere in life, there is a place both spiteful, and to pants, both indifferent, and to noble, courageous people.

Hipshot, it was very pleasant to read your comment!

Once I tested underwater swimming, but for me the first time was quite difficult and disturbing, anyway it is very beautiful. And to take the picture at a depth it, likely, not only disturbingly, but also it is very difficult!

Don't worry Jeff I am sure Neil loved your sets here just as much. After all what normal healthy male wouldn't! ;)

I have to say I agree with Neil; while I would fail at belly dancing myself, I would love to see you do so. ( :
Perhaps you could persuade Rylsky to make a video of you belly dancing, in full costume?

That is a very good one. Many of Churchill's quotes were intended to uplift British spirits during WWII.

Some more examples include:

History is written by the victors.

History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.

If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favourable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.

Just in case Rylsky reads this: What do you think of Karsh's portraits and especially his Churchill ones?

  • 1

Belly dancing and pole dancing. How delightful, you sexy little vixen.

  • 0

Jeff, Do you own your own horse? What is its name?

  • 0

Anything by or about Winston Churchill, The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings, Worlds In Collision.

I also like mystery thrillers written in other than English and then translated. Many people know the trilogy of books by the late Stieg Larsson. Jo Nesbo and Camilla Lackberg are perhaps less well known in North America but they each have a large international following. I like everything of theirs that I have read. There are many more fine Scandinavian writers in this genre.

I think I will try mystery thrillers written in French next, probably starting with Pierre Lemaitre. That is more than enough about my likes (for now).

You have said that your favorite author and book are Jack London and White Fang. How would you categorize the genre(s) that you tend to choose books from?

Thank you Jeff

Jeff, I'm curious, what kinds of dance do you enjoy?
Several years ago some friends of mine introduced me to ballroom, contra, and folk dancing. While each has its merits, folk dancing addicted me, for the music, the movements, and the cultural elements.
So I am curious which kind of dace has addicted you. ( :

At first I was shocked at your name choice but now I am used to it and I think it really works. It is short and cute and very different which really makes since for a very pretty fresh young woman like yourself. No matter the name, it is that angelic face and those interesting hazel eyes that are your true identity.

  • 1

It is difficult but very rewarding because it is different. Not any more difficult than glamor work like Rylsky except my models won't take direction. If the subject interests you Rylsky or Kei have my web address. As for diving it is just a matter of learning the right things and practicing them. Most anyone can do it if they can control there fears get past that. It is a wonderful thing to be weightless in a vast and beautiful new world. It is so peaceful with no one speaking and no phones ringing and no traffic noise.

Hello Jeff,
I think your choice of Jeff Milton for your name makes a bold statement from a pretty young lady. I like it.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that your favorite author is Jack London. I expected you to name one of the great Russian novelists. Jack London wrote many novels and short stories. My favorite is his book, "The Sea Wolf." Do you like Ernest Hemingway? His style is much like Jack London's. His novel "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is a masterpiece. Do you ever read romance or love stories?

A side from reading, what other interests do you have?

Warm regards and best wishes,
Neil
