A messenger arrived through
a sunlit’ open door
Passed the dangers of the world
to his troubled queen so bored
With a voice full of worry and
a frightened fighter’s face
Another day’s morning in life’s busy race
He looked into her eyes before he spoke

Play my darling, play
Don’t you put yourself on the throne no more
Play my darling, play
There’s a world outside our broken borders
Play my darling, play
Don’t you put your key in another door
Play my darling, play
With a world outside your broken borders
She’s a lonely young girl
she’s the sister of the moon
Her heart is like November
though she wants it to be June
Larger than life she’s standing there so tall
There’s a note with her name and
it’s hanging on the wall
Her eyes they opened wide when she read

Upon reviewing the goal, it was determined that the net had clearly been displaced prior to the puck going into the net. According to Rule 471a article 5 – If the goal net has been displaced from its normal position, or the frame of the goal net is not completely flat on the ice.
The IIHF referee supervisor Konstantin Komissarov confirmed that the ruling made by referees Brad Meier and Markus Vinnerborg was the correct call and that the proper procedure had been followed with regards to the video review.

Few pics in this set....however --- I give 'u "10", comrade Ryl!

Snow Leopard, Polar Bear and Hare: this cute trio have become the official mascots of the 2014 Winter Olympics which will be held in the Russian city of Sochi. Also, Fire Boy and Snow Girl have become the mascots of 2014 Winter Para-Olympics.

Russians cast their votes in a televised show on Saturday and after an emotional anticipation the results were announced. Snow Leopard was the absolute winner in the competition, followed by Polar Bear with 18 per cent of the votes and Hare which took 16 per cent of Russian’s voices. The decision to have three mascots was announced by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Head of Sochi Organizing committee, at the end of the show.

I think the Rylsky Art mascot I sent 'u last evening look better than those mentioned above --- let me know how 'ur models et al like it (I think the models should find a good mascot name)...! :)

The embattled National Security Agency is about to get new leaders to deal with the ongoing fallout from whistleblower Edward Snowden’s surveillance disclosures.

Vice-admiral Michael Rogers, the commander of the US navy’s tenth fleet and its Fleet Cyber Command, will take over from NSA Director Keith Alexander, who reluctantly became a global figure in the wake of the Snowden revelations.

Richard Ledgett, the head of the agency’s investigation into Snowden – who publicly floated the prospect of an amnesty for the former contractor – will become the NSA’s new deputy director and top civilian leader.

The appointments, both long anticipated, were announced by the Pentagon on Thursday.

Rogers is a longtime cryptologist in the Navy, whose informal turn it was to nominate a director for the NSA. Alexander is an Army general; and his predecessor, Michael Hayden, hailed from the Air Force.

Rogers has a resume studded with experience in cryptography and electronic eavesdropping that are central to the NSA’s charter. Tenth Fleet, inert since World War II, was reactivated as the Navy’s cybersecurity command and based at Fort Meade, the base of operations for the military’s infant Cyber Command – which Rogers will also head, pending Senate approval – and the NSA. Rogers also served for two years on the military’s Joint Staff as intelligence director, a prestigious Pentagon post.

But his low-profile commissions have not provided him with a platform to articulate his views on the propriety and appropriate scope of the bulk surveillance of a large swath of world communications, the subject of Snowden’s disclosures that have been published in the Guardian, the Washington Post and other news outlets worldwide.

Nor will the Senate have a chance to scrutinize them, at least formally. The NSA directorship is not a position confirmed by the Senate. Rogers’ appointment to head US Cyber Command, which is co-located with the NSA and largely reliant on its personnel and expertise to protect US military networks, will require Senate approval, making Rogers’ forthcoming Senate Armed Services Committee hearing a proxy venue to learn his views on surveillance.

Rogers did not have much in the way of competition for the NSA job. There were whispers in Washington that the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Army Lieutenant General Mike Flynn, was also a candidate for the job, but even those who advocated for Flynn, a veteran of the powerful Joint Special Operations Command, did not expect him to get the NSA job.

In a statement Thursday, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said he recommended Rogers for the post to President Barack Obama, citing Rogers’ “extraordinary and unique qualifications.”

I know Rylsky is aware that "Nirvana" album --- however:

Proper names are distinguished from proper nouns. A proper noun is a word-level unit of the category noun, while proper names are noun phrases (syntagms) . For instance, the proper name ‘Jessica Alba’ consists of two proper nouns: ‘Jessica’ and ‘Alba’. Proper names may consist of other parts of speech, too: ‘Brooklyn Bridge’ contains the common noun ‘Bridge’ as well as the proper noun ‘Brooklyn’. ‘The Raritan River’ also includes the determiner ‘the’. ‘The Bronx’ combines a determiner and a proper noun. Finally, ‘the Golden Gate Bridge’ is a proper name with no proper nouns in it at all.

While any string of words (or non-words) can be a proper name, we may (tentatively) locate that liberality in the form of proper nouns. Proper names, by contrast, simply have a large number of paradigms corresponding to the sorts of things named (Carroll 1985). For instance, official names of persons in most Western cultures consist of (at least) first and last names (themselves proper nouns). Names of bridges have an optional definite determiner and often contain the common noun ‘bridge’. Hence we can have bridge names that embed other proper names like ‘The George Washington Bridge’. We can also have structurally ambiguous names like ‘the New New York Public Library’.

Names are often claimed to be syntactically “definite,” since they can occur with markers of definiteness, such as the definite article in English. Since definite expressions include pronouns, demonstratives and definite descriptions, this evidence is often used to support views on which names are subsumed to one of these categories), though it is also consistent with names forming their own species of definite.

What we might call proper nominals (proper names without their determiner) can modify other nouns, as in ‘a Bronx resident’. They can also occur as the restrictors of determiners other than ‘the’, as in ‘every Alfred’. Some (notably Burge [1973]—see the Description Theory below) take such non-argumental occurrences as consitituting their primary use (in a theoretical, rather than statistical sense). However, it might seem more natural, pre-theoretically, to regard such occurrences as on a par with “coerced” expressions such as the verb ‘googled’.

Is there just one proper name ‘Alice’ or are there many homonyms (‘Alice-1’, ‘Alice-2’, etc.)? On the one hand, it is tempting to infer the uniqueness of the name, on syntactic grounds, from the uniqueness of the proper noun (arguably the same noun recurs in the names ‘Alice Waters’ and ‘Alice Walker’, as well as in the phrase ‘two famous Alices’). On the other hand, there is pressure from semantics to recognize multiple homonyms (or else large-scale ambiguity). For instance, if the meaning of a name is its referent, then there is either one ambiguous name ‘Alice’, with as many meanings as there are individuals named Alice, or many univocal names with identical spelling. If instead the meaning of a name corresponds to a rule determining, or constraining, its reference in a context, then there is no pressure to adopt either expedient.

with golden fire, why, it appears no other thing to

What a piece of work is a man! how noble in reason!

Welcome to the show
Remember whatever you do, do not boo the flow
Schooled the dumb on the number one rule of thumb
What a fool; still you never met a cooler bum
Give the drummer some rum, I'm sure he could use a shot
Just to get his cues hot, ensure he don't lose his spot
A stranger who speaks to you vocal
Danger made the beat, get a freak to do the bogle
No bull, everything he wanted they grabbed and took
Whole lab looked like an ill left jab and hook
Even had a secretary to take the calls
Shake it and make it fall, I told her don't break my balls
Wherever Mouse go, trouble follows
The bounty on this pro was mills and "double dollars"
Vil's spills muddled flows that befuddle scholars
Thick Buffalo girl with the bubble hollars
She rocked leather and gold, a fat blouse
And need a brother with soul to let her cat out
Even if the rat couldn't compete with KRAUS

Quality control, Hipshot, is a process through which a business seeks to ensure that product quality is maintained or improved and manufacturing errors are reduced or eliminated. Quality control requires the business to create an environment in which both management and employees strive for perfection. This is done by training personnel, creating benchmarks for product quality, and testing products to check for statistically significant variations.

As for schools, the most popular grading system in the United States uses discrete evaluation in the form of letter grades. Many schools use a GPA (grade-point average) system in combination with letter grades. There are also many other systems in place. Some schools use a scale of 100 instead of letter grades. Others, including many Montessoris, eschew discrete evaluation in favor of pure discursive evaluation. There is no standardized system of grading in the United States. As such, those issues are left up to individual universities, schools and the regulatory authority of the individual states.
At most schools, colleges and universities in the United States, letter grades follow a five-point system, using the letters A, B, C, D and E/F, with A indicating excellent, C indicating average and F indicating failing. Additionally, most schools calculate a student's grade point average (GPA) by assigning each letter grade a number and averaging those numerical values. Generally, American schools equate an A with a numerical value of 4.0. Most graduate schools require a 3.0 (B) average to take a degree, with C or C− being the lowest grade for course credit. Most undergraduate schools require a 2.0, or C average to obtain a degree with a minimum of D or D− to pass a course. For most secondary schools, the minimum overall and course passes are both D or D−. Some districts, such as Mount Olive Township School District in New Jersey, have eliminated D as a passing grade for their students due to a high failure rate.

You've been in the US armed forces, and 'u got a 131 score on the AGCT....so, Hipshot, you should be smart enough (Stanford-Binet IQ 126) to understand the value of marks and different grading scales!

Having initialed the Association Agreement with the European Union, the Ukrainian government undertook international obligations that it violates right now by voting in the Verkhovna Rada on the laws that restricts fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens of Ukraine.

According to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels, spokesman for European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle Peter Stano said this at press conference for journalists.

“Commissioner Füle is deeply concerned about yesterday’s events in the Verkhovna Rada concerning the legislation that violates democratic principles and restricts fundamental rights and freedoms of the Ukrainian citizens”, - said Stano.

“According to opinion of Füle, it contradicts to European aspirations of Ukraine and also contradicts to the obligations following from the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine that Ukrainian government undertook, having initialed the Association Agreement. We are deeply concerned about these changes in the legislation”, - added Stano.

NB NB NB

In October 2012, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medevdev signed a decree that has added additional holidays to the Russian calendar.

Russians will now have a 10 day New Year break starting December 30 and ending the day after the Russian Orthodox Christmas Day on January 8.

...careful --- boobytrapped questions! LOL

  • 0

....or --- tell us: can a NOMINEE actually be a PRETENDER unless he has nominated himself...?

  • 0

Sailor has made no CLAIM, so --- he CAN'T be the kind of pretender you're talking about!
Sailor is eventually a NOMINEE --- so tell me fer_realz; can a PRETENDER be a NOMINEE unless he has nominated himself...?

It doesn't matter a lot, but it's actually
PROFESSOR Parallax...! :)

  • 0

....but --- as we all knows --- Rylsky's English could have been somewhat better, and sometimes he doesn't find the correct word:
lower down on this page he has written that Sailor is the "1st PRETENDER" for "Best quote of the Year 2014"....what Rylsky actually tried to say, was that Sailor is the "1st CONTENDER"! :)

So, messieurs-dames, try to misunderstand Mr Rylsky correctly...! LOL

  • 0

Rylsky is OK --- I know a few things about him (and his models)...! :)

  • 0

Time is an illusion, Doug...!

Evita Lima, our Rylsky-model, has a name associated with Eva Péron....and the most successful rendering of Eva Perón's life has been the musical production EVITA. The musical began as a concept album co-produced by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber in 1976, with Julie Covington in the title role. Elaine Paige was later cast in the title role when the concept album was adapted into a musical stage production in London's West End and won the 1978 Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Musical.
María Eva Duarte de Perón (May 7, 1919 – July 26, 1952) was the second wife of Argentine President Juan Perón (1895–1974) and served as the First Lady of Argentina from 1946 until her death in 1952. She is usually referred to as Eva Perón (Spanish: [ˈeβa peˈɾon]), or by the affectionate Spanish language diminutive Evita.
She was born in the village of Los Toldos in The Pampas, rural Argentina in 1919, the youngest of five children. In 1934, at the age of 15, she went to the nation's capital of Buenos Aires, where she pursued a career as a stage, radio, and film actress. Eva met Colonel Juan Perón on January 22, 1944, in Buenos Aires during a charity event at the Luna Park Stadium to benefit the victims of an earthquake in San Juan, Argentina. The two were married the following year. In 1946, Juan Perón was elected President of Argentina. Over the course of the next six years, Eva Perón became powerful within the pro-Peronist trade unions, primarily for speaking on behalf of labor rights. She also ran the Ministries of Labor and Health, founded and ran the charitable Eva Perón Foundation, championed women's suffrage in Argentina, and founded and ran the nation's first large-scale female political party, the Female Peronist Party.
In 1951, Eva Perón announced her candidacy for the Peronist nomination for the office of Vice President of Argentina, receiving great support from the Peronist political base, low-income and working class Argentines who were referred to as descamisados or "shirtless ones". However, opposition from the nation's military and bourgeoisie, coupled with her declining health, ultimately forced her to withdraw her candidacy. In 1952, shortly before her death from cancer at the age of 33, Eva Perón was given the title of "Spiritual Leader of the Nation" by the Argentine Congress. Eva Perón was given a state funeral upon her death, a prerogative generally reserved for heads of state.

"Evita" (Spanish) = "he avoids"
"Lima" = capital of Peru

"Evita Lima" = "he avoids Lima"

SparkysDad needs a medic, Neil (see comment above) --- a LIMA operation is probably actual in this connection (Efficacy and long-term patency rate of the Left Internal Mammary Artery (LIMA) conduits for revascularization of the left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) has been demonstrated, with improved results as compared to the saphenous vein graft operation. Novel approaches to LAD revascularization including the use of the left anterior small thoracotomy (LAST) operation with persistence of the intercostal arteries compared to the traditional LIMA operation have not been reported. This study evaluated flow characteristics of LAST operation.
Although proximal phasic coronary flow patterns between the two groups were similar, distal diastolic/systolic velocity ratio was higher in the LIMA than in the LAST. This difference may be related to the persistence of the intercostal artery in the LAST operation. These data confirm the continued patency and similar functional flow patterns compared to the conventional LIMA operation, supporting further investigation and application of this novel approach to LAD revascularization.)

  • 3

I'll give 'u "11" for this one...!

Phototechnical quality for Evita's sets are --- summa summarum --- higher than for any other Rylsky-model.....that's INTERESTING!

  • 0

Don't be sorry --- I gave this set "10" as you can see, and it's NOT the only top rating I've given 'u....: QED, as far as stylish differences are concerned, that (IMHO) you've been successful using SEVERAL styles! :)

Now --- this is what I'm talking about (I'm sure you'll understand):

Any piece of art is in theory capable of being analysed in terms of STYLE; neither periods nor artists can avoid having a style, except by complete incompetence, and conversely natural objects or sights cannot be said to have a style, as style only results from choices made by a maker. Whether the artist makes a conscious choice of style, or can identify his own style, hardly matters. Artists in recent developed societies tend to be highly conscious of their own style, arguably over-conscious, whereas for earlier artists stylistic choices were probably "largely unselfconscious". Most stylistic periods are identified and defined later by art historians, but artists may choose to define and name their own style. The names of most older styles are the invention of art historians and would not have been understood by the practitioners of those styles. Some originated as terms of derision, including Gothic, Baroque, and Rococo. Cubism on the other hand was a conscious identification made by a few artists; the word itself seems to have originated with critics rather than painters, but was rapidly accepted by the artists.
Western art, like that of some other cultures, most notably Chinese art, has a marked tendency to revive at intervals "classic" styles from the past. In critical analysis of the visual arts, the style of a work of art is typically treated as distinct from its iconography, which covers the subject and the content of the work.

The philosophy of spiritual cohesion is a common current in the meaning of rainbows. The rainbow holds a ubiquitous meaning of unity in numerous cultures. This pervasive message of unification is specifically addressed in the union between sky and earth, with the rainbow serving as a bridge between the two.

In Chinese wisdom, the rainbow is a bridge illustrated by a double-headed dragon. This sky dragon is the mediator between heaven and earth. With two heads, the rainbow dragon is able to intercede on behalf of the people, by relaying their thoughts and prayers from the earth-bound head and sending them to the head pointed heavenwards. The rainbow is also a symbol of yin and yang in Chinese legend. In this sense, the Chinese recognize five colors in the rainbow, and harmonized, they represent perfect balance.

Symbolic meaning of rainbows as a celestial bridge is in old Norse traditions too. This bridge was referred to as the Bifrost. This "rainbow bridge" spanned into the world of the gods - it was called the "Tremulous Way" to Asgard. Here we see another connection of the mundane (earthly) element being transported by channel (the rainbow) into a realm of enlightenment (heaven, or realm of the gods).

This idea of bridges linked with cultural meaning of rainbows employs another important symbol: That of the arch, and archways in general. Arches are symbolic of gateways, openings, and portals. When in context of the supernatural occurrence of the rainbow, it's a reference to a portal into heavenly realms (godly, goddess elements, heightened awareness).

Whether we're talking about bridges, arches or their symbolic representative, the rainbow...we're also talking about choice. Why? Because in each case, there is one end, and another end. One side of the bridge, and the other side. Therefore, these symbols - including the rainbow - are iconic of crossing over, transformation and initiation.

The Native American Navajo express the idea of initiation. Their wisdom describes the rainbow as a multi-colored serpent, and when seen by a young brave, the serpent is to be ridden. That ride leads to the spirit world, in which the journeyer receives guidance. His physical path is illuminated (he is shown what to do) by traversing the non-physical path of the rainbow spirit-serpent. This is considered to be a highly important initiation. Unlike many initiations, which are designated by a tribal elder, this one is organized by the Great Spirit, and the timing is divine.

In Celtic wisdom, the rainbow is called kambonemos, and it means "curve of the sky". Celtic Druids were pretty switched on about curves and arches. In their vibrant way of thinking, curves are emblems of crescent moons and the divine feminine presence. As a link to lunar/feminine energy, we're linking up with the symbolism dealing with provision, magic, fertility, and prosperity.

Consider it: Arches, crescents, moons, rainbows...they are all reminiscent of the prominent swell in a mother's belly, full with child. In Celtic lore, making love under a rainbow is said to insure successful pregnancy.

Ever wondered where the "pot o' gold" at the end of the rainbow came from? It's a kickback from the ancient Celts. Because their meaning of rainbows is feminine -and the pot (or, back in their day, the "cauldron") is a highly feminine symbol. Not to get too graphic, but in general...openings are feminine symbols, where as protrusions are male (you figure it out). The "gold" is symbolic of offspring. Think of it...back in their day, the primary gift, and assurance of their entire legacy is the promise of a child - the continuation of the bloodline, and ongoing of their kind. Pretty cool, eh?

Where the Celts associated the meaning of rainbows with the promise of new life provided by the divine feminine, in Christianity, the rainbow is also a symbol of promise. We see evidence of this in Genesis, 9:13 - "I have set my (rain)bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth." Biblical scholars interpret this in various ways, but popularly, the rainbow is a symbol of God's reconciliation with the wild and willful ways of mankind. Similarly, we see the same event in the Epic of Gilgamesh of the 7th century, BC in which a rainbow appeared as a sign of promise of the future after a great flood had devastated the earth.

Anyhow --- sagacious exposure correction alone, using batch processing, is sufficient if you want to improve the general pic quality somewhat.

A messenger arrived through
a sunlit’ open door
Passed the dangers of the world
to his troubled queen so bored
With a voice full of worry and
a frightened fighter’s face
Another day’s morning in life’s busy race
He looked into her eyes before he spoke

Play my darling, play
Don’t you put yourself on the throne no more
Play my darling, play
There’s a world outside our broken borders
Play my darling, play
Don’t you put your key in another door
Play my darling, play
With a world outside your broken borders
She’s a lonely young girl
she’s the sister of the moon
Her heart is like November
though she wants it to be June
Larger than life she’s standing there so tall
There’s a note with her name and
it’s hanging on the wall
Her eyes they opened wide when she read

"Lima" = capital of Peru

These data confirm the continued patency and similar functional flow patterns compared to the conventional LIMA operation, supporting further investigation and application of this novel approach to LAD revascularization.)

....talking about "asset-stripping", Hipshot??

Yeeessss --- I know, but still....it's a very DIFFERENT set!

Don't feel sure about that Rylsky, 'cause I've seen quite a few of 'ur land- & cityscape pics --- most of 'em are of high quality!

....yeeahh --- ADOBE Photoshop! I experimented with exposure correction, curves,vibrance/saturation,color lookups/balance, selective colors and a few plug-ins etc, and thus improved pic quality significantly.
However --- it'll be difficult achieving correponding pic quality using batch-processing!
Anyhow --- sagacious exposure correction alone, using batch processing, is sufficient if you want to improve the general pic quality somewhat.

Thanks for revealing some of the frigid charms of Russia :-) I am truly glad to hear they aren't suffering too badly over there in winter. In fact that they kinda like it :-)
What would spring be without it :-?

We just talk about picture is enough, no need to touch. Ferrari is a good example, because it's masterpiece even without driving. I never drove Ferrari but I like it as visual perfection. BUT I know all my models personally, I know you will never talk to them, touch them... and only thing I must do it to try to make you feel something.
I know we can go deep to never-ending discussion and I see that you like this kind of discussions. I said all that I wanted and for me this discussion is closed.
Thank you for your comments.

  • 1

hmmmm...
Beauty without brain is like a LaFerrari without engine --- good-looking, but rather useless!
========
Really? then any photo on this site is useless. Because you "can't touch this".
Ferrari is 90% a picture and work of design art+very smart advertising. 99% of ppl NEVER have any reason to own this kind of car:
- no such speed needed and no roads to use it.
- useless for supermarket & picnic
- no children seats, useless for family trip
- etc
that's why we are not animals (i hope we are not)
:)))

  • 1

Well, it's a helluva lotta land! :-)

  • 0

Google wouldn't translate that. More luv for Russia, I bet :-)

  • 1

Well, I finally understand WHY you wrote all this on the page titled as "Love letters" from our members to our models."

Now it is clear that it was your choice - "love letter" to Mr. P.

if not - we all have no idea why all this was started on this page.
:)

PS
I must say that my (strange kind of love) "letter" goes to Mr. US Hockey Referee.
LOL :)

  • 0

That's one of the reasons they have a lot of bucks. Which they tend to imagine they earned all on their own, and richly deserve :-)

  • 0

And he or his dad probably paid to get it up that high :-)

I don't put too much stock in those tests anyway. There are so many kinds of intelligence, we now realize. Those tests reveal a very small part of the total picture.

They said about FDR, "second-rate mind, first rate temperament."

Hard to say anything good about W, except that maybe he'd be OK to have a beer with... :-)

It's a good thing Parallax is keeping track of this stuff! :-)

  • 3

Parallax, I am sorry, but I do not understand what your comment has to do with me or this thread. I am not Venezuelan and I am not Russian. Mila is not Venezuelan. I hope I have not offended you.

  • 1

Thank you, Parallax=)
It's nice to see your works too! And I definitely like you point of view on Rylsky's photos and models!

  • 1

How does that song go?
"...all my love's in vain..." :-(

  • 1

That is weird. I don't understand "the system." I gather you can't see this site or MA on the internet in Russia et al.
So how does Rylsky get it? How do models read comments, etc?
Someone lift the Iron Curtain for me! :-)

  • 3

Anyway, we already have 1 "medal" for our members (and for our site as well): we became a site (inside MA Network sites) with a LOT of comments right from the start, a really LIVING place, long before MetArt.com let the members write comments under galleries. Another improve is sets by requests, then we made models a part of our comments and blog. I really think we choose a right way to be successful and have our OWN different and recognizable look.

  • 1

We only talk about "we'll help 'u make Rylsky Art something "better & special""...
Some things can not make it better and you need to know it. This smoke and fire really could be placed out of RA, monsieur (if we want our site be better).

  • 0

If you serious - i can be serious too. I have models who read our comments regularly and they was not happy at all wшер comments about military news, links about terrorists, Big Brother, etc. I think I must agreed with them - it will never help us be better. Agree?

  • 0

We have agreement with you that we need opinion from many models and all RA team as well. Now we are in process...

thank you

Yes I got your mail and we just in process of showing this to our models.

  • 0

Where have I read that before :-?

Well, Parallax, I hope you come out of it. Maybe what you need is to fall in love with one of these models! :-)

Keep an eye out! :-)

  • 0

Are you bragging or complaining??

  • 0

Actually it was a 142 but so what? It didn't help me any in Vietnam. There were far to many "to whom it may concern" rounds flying around. But any way scorning systems are all fallible and tilted in whatever direction the institution desires and why are we talking scoring anyway. It is insane to try to score the models. As for the photographers again it is personal opinion based on the prejudges of the one doing the scoring. One man's art is another man's trash.

Each of us is entitled to his or her opinion. My comments were aimed at this endless dinging of each others comments that has been going on lately. If you have an opinion by all means voice it in your own comment don't aim it at other peoples comments and diss others because they don't agree with you. We have a generally congenial group here and I would very much like to see it stay that way.

  • 1

Brilliant, insightful, imaginative -- explains everything about everything! :-)

You have a remarkable command of impertinent nonsense. I concede, you are the master.

Parallax, please explain what human sex trafficking has to do with Penthouse and image quality? You leave me far, far behind....

  • 4

less than 10 sets of Rylsky was on E-A.

  • 4

We are on RylskyArt. Why we must care about "Marlene"?
Or ask them (on E-A) in comments if you feel this way.

  • 1

Because quality is not enough in erotica and what is the quality if you dislike model, style, etc?

I hope this ticket is closed.

  • 2

Any such comment is merely an IMO. What you feel about an artist's work is a reflection of the way that particular work made you feel. We all have opinions about the work we view but it does not mean any more than what we feel. The level of work here is excellent but that does not mean that I will like it all. Each set is it's own show and our individual likes and dislikes will determine how we see it. There is no contest here. What you see is Rylsky's best effort. If it pleases you good if not it is done and cannot be changed so we must wait for the next set.

  • 0

Yes, they was "the quality" in industry. And now they are dead as project.

  • 0

no comments, Parallax.

  • 2

the only thing we discussed was QUALITY. I said (10+ times) that "quality" in erotica is no way to measure. you said "don't fall asleep on your laurels --- quality MUST be on this level if 'u want to be amongst the best!"

we know nothing about what is the best.

what answer on this? FBI link???

I promise from now never asking anything if it is so hard and became this way of "discussion"

Thanks.

  • 1

FBI about the quality? Or it is just contest of longest penis here?
:)))

  • 2

it works when we judge the quality of jewelry advertising picture or landscape or macro of insect with waterdrop. It never works when we talk about senses, erotica, woman's beauty, etc. Image quality in PENTHOUSE was perfect. But:
http://articles.latimes.com/2013/sep/17/business/la-fi-mo-penthouse-magazine-owner-files-for-bankruptcy

"ashes to ashes..."

  • 2

:)))

  • 5

I will never understand what this kinda "levels" means. How can we measure improvements or fails? Colors? Megapixels? Quantity? Facial expressions? I can only say: "thank you for compliment" but I'll never understand what this compliment was about.
:)

  • 2

LOL
He's been in the top ranks for years, Parallax. I know you're just trying to encourage him to continue doing what you like, but...
You can see why that remark looks kinda laughable to me, right? ( :
~~~~~~~~
Not trying to be a downer, but just remember that, even when a set bombs for you, that very same set just might be my favorite ever. There's literally "no accounting for taste" ~ and we are amazingly diverse in our tastes.
So, if you don't like a set, say so if you want/need... but then, sit back and wait to see what tomorrow brings.
It just might be your favorite set ever!
...or, at least... so far. ( :
  • 0
We'll have to deconstruct that :-)
  • 0
But that would be impossible, right :-?
  • 0
At least email her the links! :-)
  • 1
I'll take the liberty of thanking you for Rina :-)
  • 0
Well, maybe you should give her some dietary advice :-)
  • 0
Over there she's 5' 10", 119 pounds, and was 24 nearly 6 years ago...
I guess she shrunk with age :-)
  • 0
Did you check her MetArt page? How do we explain the discrepancy?
  • 0
Oh, like "Lucy, in the sky" ? ( :
  • 0
Not sure what you mean, chum. If you mean "I'll take Alysha in any setting," I couldn't agree more. But if Alysha is the "bois" in this case, there is nothing "tortu" about her. She's the pick of the woodpile. : )
  • 0
What Parallax said. : )
  • 0
Probably would be safer... :-)
  • 0
Now that's a name some model should take! :-)
  • 0
Or Bar -- Bar -- Bar -- Bar -- Barbara Ann :-?
  • 0
Yes, I do not. Please send me anything to smoke and finally understand what was funny in such translation. It really looks like trolling and takes too much time.
Piracy is a king in almost all East Europe.
That's why you see no legal erotic sites in Russian or for Russian members. All members of our site from Russia or Ukraine was members because of they wanted to steal content. Thank you for informing, but please never use public comments if you are still our friend.
  • 1
This is relevant?? Or is it just to piss off American workers who are lucky to get Christmas day off!!? LOL All this religious nonsense....so silly.
  • 0
the translation " столбец соблазнить" doesn't make any sense in Russian.
  • 0
On this site anything is possible! :-)
You could say that Rylsky pretended to nominate Sailor, in which case... :-)
We'll have to ask Sailor :-)
  • 0
....or --- tell us: can a NOMINEE actually be a PRETENDER unless he has nominated himself...?
  • 0
Actually, Parallax, "pretender" is NOT an incorrect term for what Rylsky was saying, in an archaic meaning of the word.
In the old days, a "pretender" was someone who claimed a right to the throne. This applied to royalty and to the Popes.
In that sense of the word, Rylsky's usage was correct. ( :
Happy 2014, BTW!
  • 0
I think I prefer the mistake! :-)
  • 2
He has a degree in Science :-)
  • 2
Sure my English is bad, everybody knows that. But at least Rylsky tried to be in communication with all of members and never asked them to learn Russian. I hope that communication in broken English is far better than silence in perfect English.
Thanks for corrections, BTW.
  • 1
Thank you, Dr. Parallax for diagnosis.
  • 1
As they also used to say, Vary eenta-resting! :-)
  • 0
The Wizard of Id is revealed :-)
  • 0
Yes, but is that an image of the actual Rylsky :-?
Could be. Alysha looks plenty relaxed and spontaneous :-)
  • 0
Look at his popular models and you will see. They have a light happy style that says they are enjoying the shoot. Not this sober fixed expression. For me at least most of the Rylsky shoots feature a model who is engaging and fun. A model who is working with Rylsky not for him. That is what I consider the Rylsky style.
  • 0
Etc, Parallax!
As they say, it was all a big misunderstanding :-)
BTW, this site needs more space!
  • 0
I am proud to be compared to such an illustrious Canadian (the preceding is in the sarcastic or ironic font).
It is healthy though that the two countries who share the longest undefended border in the world do not agree on everything!
  • 2
Parallax is relaxing....enjoying his Xmas beer...! :)
=====
it's the best way to solve and close all this. I really happy that your choice is beer and New Year celebration. Cheers!!!
:)
  • 0
Maybe! :-)
Look, some people are perfectly happy to be censored. And sensored, for that matter :-)
  • 1
That's why you don't want to go down the road of censorship! Nobody can see what actually is if it's been disappeared! Then we're in the loving hands of Big Brother telling us everything is fine -- go back to sleep.
  • 0
MY LORD, PARALLAX!
You are a deep person. Your explanation of why I might feel weak just looking at pictures of Evita is brilliant. It pales in comparison though to your writings on the importance of rainbows to ancient cultures, peoples and religions.
  • 0
Parallax:
Are you saying that Big Brother sabotages/d your e-mail clients partly to get access to Rylsky's letters? Or more likely that once they have sucked up all that they have been allowed to, they might eventually investigate more deeply into Rylsky and those who communicate with him?
What earthly value could there be in the emails of a photographer of beautiful women who resides and works in Russia beyond the word Russia.
If my interpretation of the far out possibilities of your comment is correct, then we all have many more problems coming our way than what has so far been released of what you know who has said about Big Brother.
  • 0
I will use my bad English once again and I hope you will understand the differences.
Excuse me, Rylsky is not responsible for anything that he was not informed. Many sites use our content but NONE of these sites will answer as real Rylsky. Just imagine any song was used for "killing people video" soundtrack. Are composer or singer guilty because of this?
You know how to contact me and ask me whatever you want, why ask to somebody who promote a site or use my photos?
Please feel the difference.
  • 0
The pertinent documents are in a "public" space -- these comments. Oh, except for the ones that were removed -- "censored."
  • 0
This is not for public area. See mail. You may not trust me, but we all must trust documents.
  • 0
As I understand it, the RylskyArt Facebook page is poorly run by MetArt and has nothing to do with Rylsky himself. Before I joined RylskyArt, I tried to communicate with Rylsky via Facebook and discovered I was talking to myself. The same is true with www.RylskyArt.net.
  • 1
I know, Parallax. But once this kind of stuff has begun, it truly is the end of a "gentlemen's club."
And more like another kind of club I wouldn't want to be part of.
  • 0
Aah, don't worry about injuring eternity. Worry more about eternity injuring us :-)
But I guess in the end it's all the same :-)
  • 0
IOW, Rylsky, don't worry about trying to be different -- just use your own sense on what is right. The difference, the style, will follow.
You have done this! You are different. The ones that aren't different are putting the horse before the cart, trying to follow somebody else's "style."
A lot more interesting stuff could be done if people shook free of the style and beliefs of the day, and just tried to do something they wanted to do -- that they felt needed to be done.
  • 2
I am so glad I am not an art expert. For me, it is simple. Rylsky's models are beautiful young women. The Black Sea coastline is a beautiful. The weather is lovely.
Nomi, Nedda, Feeona and Loreen have been photograghed in this location, together with many others as well. In my opinion, this is pure, solid gold classic Rylsky at his best.
  • 3
I am sorry, but I really hope that "Rylsky's set" is not classified by some minimal range of recognizing, I hope my work look different in all the things possible. If you really think that everything except this set was "TYPICAL" - I think it was "epic fail of 2013" for all RA. Or maybe you can inform us about typical recognition of Rylsky's USUAL set. We tried hard all these years to make our sets look DIFFERENT ALWAYS.
She will try to please you maybe. Sad that thousands of people love her the way she is and they don't need her be "tuned" for their tastes.
But I hope she need your love and will do what you want. remember that love means you want nothing to change. If you try to change a person - you just don't love this person.
